I’m Daniel, and I run Moorside Joinery. A one-man joinery business based near Easingwold, serving customers across York, Thirsk, Easingwold, and Ripon. Every project, from a bespoke boot room to a fitted kitchen or a custom wardrobe, is designed, built, and fitted by me personally, so you’re dealing with the same person from first conversation to final fit.

One recent job was a custom-made boot room, built to maximise storage without losing the look of the room: a solid oak bench seat, bespoke oak shoe storage, oak drawer boxes with oak fronts, and full-height hanging space with traditional coat hooks; all built to order rather than off a shelf.

That’s the approach behind everything I make: solid materials, proper joints, and furniture that’s made to fit your space exactly, not squeezed into it. Whether it’s a kitchen, wardrobes, windows and doors, or a fitted boot room, the aim is the same. To build something that looks right and lasts.
